How to Install an extension using the Extension Manager
It is easy to share packaged extensions with colleagues, other users etc by sending them a packaged .lce file.
Before using an extension in the LiveCode IDE it must be installed.
Open the Extension Manager
Open the Extension Manger from the Tools menu.
Select an .lce package to install
- Click the 'add' button (+) in the top left
- Select the extension package you want to install
- The installed extension will appear in the list in the Extension Manager and the Tools Palette
Managing installed extensions
You can also use the Extension Manager to unload, uninstall or change the settings of extensions. To see the list of options associated with an extension click the menu button.
