How do I change the Label content of a Label Field?
LiveCode offers a number of prebuilt objects to help you building your UI quickly. One of these is the Label Field. It may not be immediately obvious how you change its label, this lesson steps you through it.
Drag out a Label Field
Create a new stack, and drag out a Label field from the Tools Palette. Double click the field to bring up the Property Inspector.
In the Property Inspector, go to the second tab, which is the Contents tab.
Type your label text into the Contents field of the Property Inspector. Click back onto your stack, and you will see the text update for your Label field.
